Practice Development Plan

If you are a mid-level or more senior associate and are looking to move to another law firm, you should prepare a Practice Development Plan (PDP).

This document essentially summarizes your reasons for believing that your practice would be a good fit for that firm, and it describes both your legal background/skills and your client/business relationships (both actual and potential). It also includes a list of your short-term and long-term business goals and strategies.
